Dark blue with a hint of red. Sometimes his eyes take on a purplish color, though they generally don't resemble purple at all.

Raikou is one of those that toughs everything out. He loves sports, though they don't rule his live, and he doesn't consider himself a jock. He takes karate, and is currently the rank of purple belt (before brown, which comes before black.) He plays football, and does wrestling during the school year, but aside from that he mainly keeps himself busy in the summer with volleyball. Whilst he is protective of his siblings, he often gives them a hard time, though he isn't exactly rude to them. To others, he's a bit rude and uncaring. He's headstrong and stubborn, and won't back down without a fight. He's a lot like Ember Lewis, except that unlike Ember, he's all action and little talk, while the Lewis boy is the oppisite. Raikou has gotten in several fights, and usually came out the victor without even using karate. He's been voted mvp for wrestling and football before, and even when he isn't voted mvp, he is still usually considered it. Raikou is fairly quiet, just like his little brother Tyler.

Raikou has been through several fights with other boys at his school, usually coming out the victor. Except for when someone makes him mad, he's easy enough to get along with, so he's actually been in detention a lot less than most would expect. The problem is, his temper can go off quickly, and when it does, you'd best run for your life.

Other than what he's gotten himself into with his temper, Raikou has had his share of close calls. Once, about two years ago, he was in the car with one of his friends and the friend's dad. The were hit from the side by a pick up truck. Though Raikou's friend and his friend's dad were okay, he was seriously injured, with a small split in his skull, two complete breaks in his right arm, a broken knee, a deep cut in his neck, and various scratches. After an ambulance rushed him to the hospital, it was soon said that if he lived, which was only estimated a 40% chance, he could have brain damage. Raikou proved that wrong. Once he started going to school again, his grades were the same as always. Almost straight As.
