Dark brown, cut just above the shoulder, parted at the side.

Chocolate brown, almond-shaped. Due to nearsightedness, he wears glasses.

He is often dressed like a biker or rocker; black leather jacket, black or blue jeans, a black t-shirt, combat boots...

Hotaru loves his guitars; an acoustic, and an electric.
He loves playing country music, as well as rock.
He loves his children more than anything.
He enjoys cooking, especially pastas and gourmet foods.
He loves to goof off and have fun.

He dislikes up-tight people.
He is not fond of someone that lacks a sense of humor.
He hates birds.

Hotaru is a calm, kind-hearted man, though a bit rebellious. His sense of humor is a bit... psychotic, but doesn't every family have to have a nutbar?

Hotaru starting taking Karate with his four older sisters at the age of eight. (Currently, he is a second-degree black belt, and he trains every day to keep his skills top-notch. Can't say much about the sisters.)
At the age of ten, he got his first guitar. (He still has the guitar today. It's his acoustic.)
He started college to become a doctor, but gave up after the fourth year. (This means... He's a nurse!)
At the age of twenty-four, he finaly got his driver's liscense.

Beep, beep, beep.
The lump in the middle of the bed rose, and soon the white comforter flew off the matress, and hit the blue carpet upon the floor. The man grumbled, grabbed the cord of the alarm clock, and yanked on it; the beeping stopped.
With a successful nod, he jumped off the bed, and trudged out of the door and to the kitchen, not even bothering to change out of his pajamas.
After fixing a pot of coffee, he started up the oven, grabbed the Bisquick mix, pulled milk out of the fridge, and snatched the eggs from the second shelf of the refridgerator.
Pancakes, bacon, eggs. That was today's breakfast; after all, it was Sunday.

He works in the Karate Dojo on the weekends.
During the weekdays, he works in a nursing home.
