Character's Age: 14 years old
Family: Lewis
Position in Family:
Child
Hair Color:
Samuel has straight, silky dirty blond hair; just about a shade darker than straw and worn short so it doesn't get in his way. If he doesn't cut it, it'll flick down in front of his eyes.
Eye Color:
Samuel has bright, alert green eyes, sharp as a sparrow's and just as quick. It's hard for anything to escape his vision, particularly movement and things that shine (seriously).
Wearing:
Sandles (but usually barefoot), a brightly colored t-shirt, and a pair of basketball shorts (or something just as light) aren't all that uncommon of choices for Samuel. Obviously, he has no sense of what matches and doesn't really care, anyway. He isn't really a fan of jewerly (even for a guy), as it just seems to get in his way, lost, or (more often than not) broken.
Likes:
Samuel likes to take risks, and enjoys doing things like kart racing or skateboarding. He loves animals of all kinds, particularly dogs and horses. He likes to explore, whether that means snooping around a forgotten alley or thinking outside the box when trying to solve a problem. He likes going to parties and flirting with the girls; pretty much like his brother Ember.
Dislikes:
Samuel doesn't like making promises, as it makes him feel like he's being clamped down on. He doesn't like feeling too safe or confined, being a bit claustrophobic at times. He can't stand it when someone questions his honesty, and has an intense dislike for tight clothes. He can become despondent over the smallest things; if someone doesn't return his "hello".
Closeness: Yes
If yes who?: Casidy
Personality:
Samuel is obviously a happy, playful kid, perfectly at ease with being the class clown. He's active and enthusiastic, with after-school activities all across the board. He acts on impulse, adores animals, and very rarely sits still for too long. He gives and expects total and complete honesty, whether you're a dear friend or a total stranger to him.
History:
Samuel is a full-blooded Lewis, making him the son of Michael, older brother of Casidy, Chloe, Jason, and David and the younger brother of Lily, Cariya, Kyle, and Ember. Even at his fairly young age, he's had several life-threatening incidents in his time, the most recent of them being an attempt to jump a fence in a go-kart, resulting the little machine to flip over with him inside.
Pets:
Siberian Husky - Hunter
Other:
Samuel never goes by his real first name, insisting that even his teachers and parents address him by Sam. He's almost always got a few scrapes and bruises, both because he doesn't like to play it safe and because he's the clumsiest person you'll ever meet; don't be surprised when he trips right over himself while walking.
Roleplaying Example:
"Hunter!"

A streak of coal black and snowy white darted across the field of green, quickly followed by a bigger, slower, yet still swift-moving blur of navy blue.

The dog, a noble, wolf-like creature with pointed ears, sharp muzzle, with one periwinkle eye and the other soft brown, gripped a scarlet frisbee between his teeth as he ran from the boy. He seemed to smile laughingly at his owner as he ran, as if knowing full well that he would never catch up and curious to see how far he'd go before giving up.

The boy, a tall lad with short blond hair and darting green eyes, tried to look serious as he raced after his pet, but only ended up nearly bursting into laughter. This was one of his favorite games, after all; what was better than playing with man's best friend on a cool, beautiful afternoon like today? What could compare to running, free and unbridled, across a wide open field?

Torn between ending the game and actually winning it, Samuel Lewis put in an extra burst of speed. It was a miracle that he hadn't tripped over himself yet; normally, he would've ended up flat on his face about twenty paces ago.

With a decisive smile to himself, Samuel tackled his dog as the two swerved to avoid a tree. Any less of a dog probably would've yelped, startled by the sudden impact, but Hunter went down without a sound. He had played this game before; his boy wouldn't do anything to hurt him, right?

The husky struggled against Samuel's weight, but it was hard to try to fight him off with his paws while at the same time trying to tug his frisbee back from grabbing fingers. Likewise, it was tough to try and dodge the blunt claws while at the same time trying to wrestle the disc from his pet's strong, stubborn jaws.

Both boy and dog growled playfully at one another, before Samuel finally pulled out as the victor, Hunter relaxing his jaw for just a fraction of a second more than he should have. The force, now suddenly released, threw the lad back, flat on the ground facing up toward the clear blue sky.

Samuel panted, worn out from the run and the fight for the toy, his chest heaving underneath his dark blue t-shirt. Hunter did not move, lying peacefully on his side and content with not having his disc now that the struggle was over.

After catching his breath, Samuel laughed aloud and sat up, pleased that he had won. His dog simply lifted its head and wagged his tail, still seeming to smile happily. The Lewis boy grinned and stood up while the husky followed suit, head tilted to one side as the boy shook his toy in his face.

Accepted, and please add you're character to you're signature.

Just a note also that it's only required for a role play example for you're first two characters. Once you post more so you can have more characters, if you want to make another, you don't need to do a role play example. Of course if you want you can though. lol
